Boasting a pedigree core membership of post-rock legend The Dazzling Killmen (RIP) and the Nihilist-label experimental noise terrorists Panicsville, Laddio Bolocko stake their claim as one of the most explosive AVANT-ROCK bands in modern times. Note: Blake Flemming, The Dazzling Killmen drummer extraordinaire, can also boast active duty as Zeni Geva`s (Tokyo) "attack" drummer on their 1996 U.S Freedom Bondage tour.

Hungarian, the bands own label/headquarters - based in New York, has self-produced all of the bands releases (with Drew St. Ivany and The Knobs) and are set to re-release their ground-breaking debut, Strange Warmings of Laddio Bolocko. This 72 minute epic (1997) was available only to European concert goers on Laddio Bolocko`s last Euro tour (feb/march 1999) before it went out-of-print. A masterful documentary of the bands unique polyrythmic intensity, frenetic no-wave guitar/bass and ayler-esque jazz-skronk, Strange Warmings will now be officially available to European consumers.

Laddio Bolocko`s last release, "As If By Remote" + 4, demonstrates how far this innovative quartet have come in honing their finely crafted recorded sound. "The Outro" (track 4) highlights a delay-frenzied guitar duel soon accompanied by an obliterating percussion backdrop to remind the casual listener that this band simply has no frontiers. The band is currently wrapping up their new full-length LP/CD (available spring 2000).

In a live setting, Laddio Bolocko are an intense listening experience. Actively mixing their instruments with tape loops and samples to manipulate their LIVE output IN REAL TIME.
