Rhythms from Jamaica, influenced by Reggae or Ska, mixed with harder, faster and more awesome rhythms like Hardcore, compose that peculiar band's music style. Where one can find alike references to bands like Voodoo Glow Skulls, Nofx, Los Fabulosos Cadillacs…

"The band was formed in the beginning of 1994 with three guitars, a bass and drums. In July of the same year, we realised our first live performance. During the year we were playing in the province, meanwhile we were arranging the first record, that was recorded in may '95 in Sabadell.

The six themes of that record got very good critics in some speciality's magazines, so that helped us to sell all the copies even abroad Catalonia. In those magazines, our music style was catalogued as colourful and amorphous. Thirty concerts till the end of that year, most of them in the same province, answer for us.

In 1996 we fulfilled concerts along Catalonia and at the end of this year a wind instruments section joined us with a saxophone and a trumpet. The band's style improved and got richer, getting closer to the nowadays style. All these changes, in their first step, came to light in the second tape, recorded in November of the same year.

After we had produced and published the first record on our own, in the beginning of 1997 "Karatula Records" was interested in producing and publishing the second one all over Spain. The first 500 copies run out very quickly, so there was a need for a second edition with 500 more.

In October '97 the band took part in an exchange with a German band called "Die Happy". Up there in Ulm (Germany), Stroho fulfilled three concerts with that band, which came to Terrassa in july '98. Both played together in several nightclubs and festivals across Catalonia. That summer Stroho recorded the first CD called "precaución-precaution" with the contribution of the " Die Happy" members and also a trombone and a trumpet in some themes. That CD, with seventeen songs, was released in November '98 in "Sala Sidecar", Barcelona and was produced and published also by "Karatula records".

In 1999 the band fulfilled many concerts promoting the new CD that brought us to many places like Donosti, Menorca, Bilbo ("Semana grande"), "Fira the teatre al carrer de Tarrega- Open-air theatre festival in Tarrega". But we also played in whole Catalonia together with bands like M.C.D., La Polla, Muertos de Cristo and Kargol's.

In December 2000 and January 2001 Stroho have recorded the second CD in the "La nuit Blanche" studio in Perpignan / France. It was released in April 2002 and was followed by a tour through countries like the Netherlands, France, Switzerland and Germany."
