Gesundheit (USA)

What the hell is it? Gesundheit isn't easily nailed down. The drums are God, guitars a choir, and the trumpet an atheist. The music is at times aggressively existential, and other times warmly inviting. An audience is drawn in, then pushed back, welcomed in, kicked back....
Gesundheit is Kram (vokals/trumpete), Miss Adventure (guitarre), Gatsby (guitarre), Don Picolo (guitarre), and Jimmy P Lightning (trommel). Collectively, they metal-out, dramatically attacking the compositions.

Their debut release is called Asinus Ad Lyram (translation: an ass at the lyre). Recorded by Bryden Baird in May 2001, Kram was requested to tone down the lyrical obsenities as to not offend the neighbours children. Little did he know, the 'kids' would later blare Gesundheit in the back yard while he tried to sleep. Asinus Ad Lyram is distributed by Sonic Unyon in Canada and by Musea Records internationally. Film maker Rick Palidwor has produced five individualistic videos for Ignorancia, Multiple Fucking Choice, Sigh No More, Sartre's Wall, and Pathetic.
