beNUTS (Germany)

beNUTS was formed in 194 as a 8-piece-male Ska-Band un Munich. Now this Bavarian band is one of the trendiest live-acts in Germany.

beNUTS play a big mixture of folk, polka, latin and punky offbeat with english, german, french, spanish, italian and russian words.

beNUTS released their first longplayer "3 Tone S`kaa" in June 1996 on Artysan Records, Munich. This CD was quite successful in Germany, USA and Canada. After heavy touring they played bigger festivals with Ziggy Marley and Shaggy. In 1999 they played at the windsurf worldcup in Torbole, lago di Garda.

1998 beNUTS released their second album "Captain Rude" and played a big German tour in `99. The next bigger tour will be in June 2000 through Italy.

In Augist 1999 beNUTS released a MAxi-CD as a tribute to premier league soccer club "Spielvereinigung Unterhaching".

Playing a cover of Flintstones beNUTS climbed uo to No. 63 in the US-independent charts.
